How it works
Install the app, pick a channel, and your team is in. Predictions arrive as DMs. Standings post automatically.
Install
Add Office World Cup to your Slack workspace. Run /worldcup in the channel you want to use — that's it. You're the admin.
Predict
Every match day, players get a DM with upcoming fixtures. Tap the result, pick a score, lock it in. No edits, no second-guessing.
Compete
After every match, results and updated standings are posted to the channel. Department vs. department. Your company vs. the world.
The details
Joining is automatic
Anyone who joins the Slack channel is enrolled in the pool. They get a welcome DM, pick their department, and start predicting. No sign-ups, no forms.
Predictions via DM
Matches arrive in three regional windows — morning for EMEA, afternoon for the Americas, evening for APAC. Friday DMs cover the weekend. All button-based, no typing required.
Live leaderboards
Standings update after every result. See individual rankings, department breakdowns, and where your company sits on the global leaderboard.
Tournament picks
Before the first match kicks off on June 11, everyone picks their World Cup winner and Golden Boot. 30 points each if you get it right.
Department rivalries
Players choose their department during onboarding. Engineering vs. Sales vs. Marketing — bragging rights that last well beyond the final.
Global company rankings
Opt in and your company appears on officeworldcup.com/leaderboard. Ranked by average score per active player — small teams can beat big ones.
